We talk about boundaries, ambition, money, self-trust, identity shifts, and what it means to live like you’re already the version of you you want to become. Not because it’s easy. And clarity that sticks even when things get messy.
Brenna was a teacher, Emily was an assistant principal (in two different districts, not even in the same area).
In June 2023, we both walked away from careers in education with no real plan, just the certainty that there was something else out there for us.
So we each did the terrifying thing and built our own freelancing businesses, completely solo from nothing.
Then we met on Instagram in 2024. Brenna hired Emily as a contractor, and within a few weeks it was obvious: opposite strengths, same standards, same heart for the people we get to work with. Oh, and same sense of humor, values, and the fun stuff you build a friendship business partnership on!
So we stopped competing and merged our businesses. Flourish is what happens when two people who could do it alone decide they'd rather do it right, together!

Former teacher turned your brand visionary and biggest hype girl. Brenna is the one who sees what a brand could be before anyone else does, and then creates the content that makes people stop scrolling. Big-picture, camera-ready, and always three ideas ahead. She's an Enneagram 2, loves her family, working out, iced coffee, Jesus, and connecting with people on a deeper level.

Former assistant principal, current systems brain. Emily is the one who turns big ideas into something that actually runs, with the strategy, the structure, the design that ties it all together. If it's organized, on-brand, super detailed and working behind the scenes, that's her. She's an Enneagram 3, a wife and an adoptive mom. She loves going on walks, traveling, podcasts & audiobooks, Jesus, and deep talks with a laugh out loud laughing session mixed in.

Teaching was never about delivering the same lesson to every kid. It was about knowing the person in front of you well enough to actually hear them, see them, and reach them.
Every student needed something different. So does every client.
We built lesson plans for individual kids based on their individual needs, and we build brand strategies exactly the same way.
So that's what you get: strategy shaped around your business, your voice, and what actually makes you different. Never a copy-paste of what we did for someone else.

Where are you located and who do you work with?
Well... #1, because we wanted to! ;) And we quickly realized the skills turned out to be the same. Teaching is about understanding people, communicating clearly, and meeting them where they are, which is exactly what good marketing does. We left education to build something of our own, discovered we were good at helping other people's businesses grow, and haven't looked back! We basically took our favorite parts of teaching and made a business out of it :)

We're based in East Texas and work with service businesses across the country, both in person and fully remote. We have clients in California, Idaho, other areas of Texas and have no problem traveling for shoots or keeping things fully remote.
